Thrifty scarves
Sunday, November 12, 2006
I'm using up odds and ends of yarn to make scarves - these two are for me, others are Christmas presents, so no photos yet. The scarves are worked lengthways in garter stitch on 6mm needles; they make great mindless knitting after a working day.
What, no purple scarf? There's one on the needles right now...
Thrifty - that looks like a million dollars - they're gorgeous:)

I love the way garter stitch blends colours together like that!

Lovely scarves. I think we'll all be fed up with scarf knitting by the time christmas comes around!
