December 31 - the final photograph of Project 365. Here's the faithful companion checking on the outside world; come the warm weather, I reckon we'll be fighting over which of us gets to sit in the sunniest spot on the balcony... Happy New Year from the seaside!
December 29 - that looks like a nice box - just my size. If I sit still for long enough, she'll get bored, stop watching and I'll be able to sneak my bum in there...
Is it just me or do other people find this offensive, not to mention patronising?
Go have some fun here
Walking home along the seafront (see previous post), I came across the perfect Christmas image...
Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
December 24 - went into Brighton today looking for something Christmassy to photograph - decorations, crowds of shoppers, maybe even a tree or two - and didn't find anything seasonally inspiring. So it was off to the pier to take photos, followed by a bracing walk along the seafront back to Hove
December 23 - a beautiful sunny morning. Christmas food and presents are bought, cards are posted and there's still a day to spare. I have some of the presents to wrap, then I can settle down for a nice quiet knit this afternoon
December 22 - St Aubyns Mansions, Kings Esplanade, Hove. There's usually a seagull perched on top of the turret when I walk past
December 20 - seriously good bread! It's an organic pumpkin seed loaf from the deli across the road and it tastes great plain (or toasted) with butter and Marmite (or butter and honey, for that matter)
December 19 - bookcases for the bedroom were delivered today. Flossie's not sure....maybe all the dust on the shelves is putting her off
... taken yesterday with just over half an hour between the first and last one. Spot the helicopter!
December 17 - George Street, Hove
