A quick round up

On the needles are two mystery KALs. Kalendar, a lace sampler project which will last all year with one clue per month

Mystery16_1
and Mystery Shawl Along 16 from Goddess Knits. I know it's boring beige (oatmeal actually) but I couldn't decide which yarn or which colour to use so I went for a 75% wool/25% nylon sock weight out of my dyeing stash. I'll probably dye the shawl when it's finished or I might not. Depends on how I feel about the boring beige colour when it's knitted into a pretty lace pattern.

Also on the needles are a couple more shawls for the Ravelry 10 shawls challenge. Top pic is Saroyan, bottom pic is Frost Diamonds from this time's Knitty.

OK, back to the grindstone...

It's nearly February

How did that happen? I only looked away for a moment and the month has practically disappeared... There has been knitting, dyeing, reading, happy snapping for Hove Daily Photo and numerous other activities. Flossie's in good form, but surprised that it's over a month since Christmas and catnip treats. She does that looking surprised thing very well.

Off the needles is finished-before-Christmas stuff, now safely gifted and no longer secret. Here's a quick glimpse of a few.

Details, as ever, on my Ravelry project page. Also off the needles is Wandering the Moor, the first item in the 10 Shawls in 2010 Ravelry challenge.
