Another Saturday afternoon

That was June; suddenly it's August. Much of the summer this year has been too darned hot for comfort as far as I'm concerned. I spent a fair amount of it skulking in front of an electric fan with my Kindle in hand re-reading books ranging from the Harry Potter series to Melvyn Bragg's biography of Richard Burton.
Knitting-wise; there have been pairs of plain vanilla socks (far too boring to blog about) and several shawls. Output much as usual then.
One for me - Heavy Weather, a lovely shawl pattern by Goddess Knits called Einin, worked in Wollmeise Lace in dark-grey-almost-black. Renee's patterns are a delight to knit - good instructions and large, clear charts.
Meanwhile, Flossie's as disinterested as usual. Must be time for another snooze...
Wow, that lace is beautiful! Fiddly to do? Glad you have made something for yourself. Kris xx

Not too fiddly - I do have to concentrate though! x
